Jennifer Lee
Jennifer represents both Claimants and Defendants in cases
involving general commercial disputes, employment disputes, trusts of land
disputes, real property, winding up/bankruptcy petitions, and personal injury
(including claims on the fast track and multi-track). She is frequently
instructed in landlord and tenant cases (including possession claims involving
residential and business premises, boundary claims and construction), and has
developed an in-depth knowledge of all matters relating to the Leasehold
Valuation Tribunal. She also has a keen interest in the areas of contract law,
sale of goods and supply of services, insolvency and costs.
Jennifer has litigated in a range of forums, from county
court level to the High Court, and in tribunals. She undertakes written work in
all areas of civil law and will advise on all aspects of a case on paper, and
by phone, where required. Jennifer accepts work on a CFA basis and undertakes
work for the Bar Pro Bono Unit.
Jennifer is on the Personal Injury Brief Update Law Journal
(PIBULJ) panel of contributors. She is also co-editor, along with Stephen
Jones, of the Pump Court Chambers Property Law Newsletter. She regularly
contributes to the Employment Law Newsletter and to the Personal Injury
Newsletter, and presents seminars on personal injury and employment law.

(Leasehold Valuation Tribunal) - whether application time barred or lessee
estopped from challenging charges for major works.
Morgan v Quest Timber Products Ltd (High Court, unreported)
- successfully applied for bankruptcy petition to be struck out.
H v C (unreported) - represented Mother in family
proceedings where child reluctant to have contact with Father, who was
epileptic and had severe mental health issues.
C v C (High Court, unreported) - represented Mother in
wardship proceedings involving children who had been removed from the
jurisdiction.
