Most candidates find this the most troublesome part of the Police Station Qualification. You hear many horror stories from people. Unfortunately, the horror stories are usually from those who haven't properly prepared for what is a straightforward examination once you know how it works
We can help you with that. Our assessment team have put together materials and a recorded webinar which will offer you the best chance of passing the CIT first time. These resources have been created by the people who will mark your CIT so you can hear the truth about how to pass from them. The support package when booked with a CIT costs less than the examination. If you want to maximise your chances of passing then you really do need to listen to the assessors rather than someone in your office.
There are two levels of support package
- Basic Support Package 7 CPD hours
This comprises documentation, two recorded webinars, audio examples of CIT, self testing documentation and two further written examples of a CIT
- Documentation including required standards of competence to see how you need to measure up to marking standards
This webinar includes the following topic information

- following the CIT through its chronology
- responding to a request to attend
- consulting
- monitoring and intervening
- vulnerable clients
- identification procedures
- ethical issues

- underpinning skills required before sitting a CIT

This webinar is an interactive webinar where you can observe two candidates attempting to answer questions from the CIT. This webinar allows you to pause and attempt to answer the questions yourself, before hearing others attempt the same questions and an assessor guide you through the answers.
We include two CIT scripts for you to look at together with answers for you to work through
A power point presentation on which you can test yourself whilst working through the CIT
Course notes to accompany the webinars
A real CIT recorded for you to listen to. This audio file is also available for download and comes in an mp3 format so can be listened to on any computer or most mobile devices
2. Intensive Interactive Training 1 CPD hour
If you feel that you require more tailored training after having worked through the basic standard support package, then you can have time online with one of our assessors who will answer any questions that you may have and take you through a CIT should you wish to. We can tailor these sessions to address any further issues that you might have.
